Josep María Masqué got his PhD degree from the University of Barcelona (2012) and, after, a postdoctoral position at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (CSIC). In 2013, he moved to Morelia, México, to work at the Instituto de RadioAstronomía y Astrofísica (UNAM). He is currently working in the Astronomy Department of Universidad de Guanajuato, in Mexico, since 2015.
