JAE-INTRO (LENGHT OF STAY 5 MONTHS)

Master student

Oier is working on developing an online catalogue of models of dust thermal emission around post-AGB stars through a JAE-Intro ICU 2023 grant under the supervision of Dr Mayra Osorio. He has a degree in Physics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and is currently enrolled in the Master’s program in Physics and Mathematics (FisyMat) at the University of Granada (UGR).

In the academic year 2022/2023 he participated in a SICUE mobility program at the University of Granada, where he did an extracurricular internship and the Final Degree Project on debris disks around mature stars under the supervision of Dr. José Francisco Gómez and Dr. Mayra Osorio. With this, he graduated in Physics in July 2023. He is currently enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Physics and Mathematics (FisyMat) at the University of Granada (UGR). He continues his work on debris disks in mature stars as part of his Master’s Thesis.
